Janis Snow Good

Wadesboro – Mrs. Janis Snow Good, age 73, died Monday, May 25, 2020 while a patient at Hospice House of Union County. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00AM Thursday by the graveside at Anson Memorial Park with Rev. Ken Goins officiating. Social distancing guidelines will apply. Janis was born in Elizabeth City, NC, on September 18, 1946, the only daughter of the late Mary Ranhorn Snow and the late Dennis E. Snow. Upon first moving to Anson County, she worked briefly at Anson County DSS and then later for the Anson County Public School System. She retired as an elementary school teacher’s assistant after 27 years. Janis was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Howard Good of the home; a daughter, Angela Barbee (Wesley) of Oakboro; two grandsons, Michael Barbee and Christopher Barbee both of Oakboro.
