PEACHLAND – On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, Mrs. Amanda Cranford Billingsley, 48, passed away peacefully at her home with her family there.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, June 28, 2026, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Mr. Ken Caulder officiating.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
Amanda was born August 12, 1977, in Chesterfield County, SC and was a daughter of Mary Effie Honeycutt Cranford and the late David Stephen Cranford. She was a 1995 graduate of Anson High School and was employed as Customer Service Manager with Medical Specialties in Wadesboro.
Those who are left to cherish her memory are her husband of nearly 21 years, Daren Billingsley; her children, Austin Jacobs (Reina) of Norwood and Katie Billingsley of Peachland; her mother, Mary Cranford of Peachland; her sister, Rebecca Cranford of Peachland; her niece, Taylor Phillips of Peachland; her mother-in-law, Iris Bowers of Marshville; her father-in-law, Ricky Billingsley (Delores) of Cherry Grove Beach, SC; and her sisters-in-law, Lynn Gardelle (Tim) of Polkton, Iris Horne (Randy) of Marshville and Noel Harrill of Myrtle Beach, SC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clayton and Lillie Lett Cranford and James Russell and Eunice Hildreth Honeycutt.
Amanda loved the outdoors. Time spent looking at the stars, moon, sunrises, sunsets and meteor showers. She loved caring for animals to include deer, rabbits and even racoons. Photography was another pastime she enjoyed and would often take pictures of outdoor scenes and wildlife.
Above all things Amanda enjoyed and loved, being with her husband and children was the greatest time and pleasure for her. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of the Anson County Animal Shelter, c/o, Stephanie Phifer, P.O. Box 117, Marshville, NC 28103.
