MORVEN - On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, Mrs. Anita Culp Mullis passed away peacefully at the home of her sister in Georgia following a courageous battle with cancer. Her family rejoices now with her as she was victorious in the fight, and she is now at home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
There will be a memorial service at 3:00 PM, Friday, July 11, 2025, at Morven Baptist Church.
Anita was born in Salisbury, NC on March 11, 1958, and was a daughter of the late David C. Culp and the late Annie Sue Mowery Culp. She was a graduate of North Rowan High School and until her health declined, she was employed with INA Industries in Cheraw, SC.
A woman of great faith, she was a long-time member of Morven Baptist Church where she assisted with Vacation Bible School.
Those who are left to cherish her memory are her children, Rusty Henry of Morven and Jennie Henry of Las Vegas; her spiritual daughter, Danielle Self and spouse, JT of Morven; her beloved dog, Maggie; her sister, Libby Adams and spouse, Paul of Georgia; her grandchildren, Noah and Aubrie Self; her extended family, Melinda and Todd Haire, Lindsay Haire, David Adams, and Jennifer Knoske.
Anita will be remembered for her love of fashion, dancing, traveling, her positive outlook on life but most of all for her love for Jesus. She lived a life before others exemplifying the love of her Savior in hopes of their finding the same peace and joy that she found in Him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Morven Baptist Church.
