Betty Rogers Mullis

            CHAPIN, SC – On Thursday, December 14, 2023, Mrs. Betty Rogers Mullis, 89, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord at her home.

            Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 2, 2023, by the graveside in Seago Cemetery in Wadesboro. The family will greet friends following the service at the graveside.

            Betty was born May 27, 1934, in Anson County, NC and was a daughter of John Franklin Rogers and the late Gladys Mae Hasty Rogers. She retired from Anson Shirt Factory in Wadesboro.

            She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Dale Weaver of Irmo, SC and her faithful and beloved Chihuahua, Uno.

            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Mullis and her brother, R.J. Rogers.

            Betty loved her Lord and Savior and enjoyed reading, gardening, and flowers.

            In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Seago Cemetery, c/o North Wadesboro Baptist Church, 1211 N. Greene St., Wadesboro, NC 28170 or to the animal rescue organization of the donor’s choice.
