Betty Ann Lett Winfree

Mrs. Betty Ann Lett Winfree, 54, died Sunday, June 26, 2011 in Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, July 1, 2011 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. J.B. Lanter and Rev. Teddy Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends Thursday night from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home and other times at the home. Betty was born September 30, 1956 in Anson County, NC a daughter of Nancy Johnson Lett of Wadesboro and the late Bennie Green Lett. In addition to her mother, surviving are her husband, Charles David Winfree of the home; her son, Daniel Winfree of Wadesboro; her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Matthew Ashby of Wadesboro; her grandchildren, Katie and Amber Winfree, John Steven and Shane Hildreth and Matthew, Jr. and Emily Ashby; her brothers and sisters, Bennie Lett, Jr. of Peachland, Michael Lett of Morven, Cynthia O'Neal of Wake Forest and Nancy O'Neal of Wadesboro.
