LILESVILLE - On Sunday, September 6, 2026, Mrs. Beverly Rogers Adams passed away peacefully at the McWhorter Hospice House in Monroe surrounded by the love of her family.

There will be a memorial services at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Calvary Baptist  Church with Rev. Barry Gerald officiating. 

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.

A private entombment will take place at a later date at Anson Memorial Park.

Beverly was born October 29, 1952 in Anson County, NC and was a daughter of the late Chester Rogers and the late Betty Jean Melton Rogers. She was a 1971 graduate of Bowman High School.

For 26 years, she worked at Wansona- Wul-Zinco Manufacturing in Wadesboro as a graphic designer and also at Master Screens in Monroe. She later retired as an inspector with Hornwood in Lilesville.

Beverly was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church where she served as church secretary, sang in the choir and often helped with serving meals at the church.

She loved flowers, fishing, crafting, baking and artwork. 

Those who are left to cherish her memory are her husband of 55 years, Willie Adams; her daughter, Christi Goodwin (Michael) of Lilesville; her grandchildren, Steven dean of Morven, Erica Mills of ruby, SC, Honovi Bullard and Harmony Gregory both of Lilesville and Matthew Rhode (Haley) of Kannapolis; her great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Aron, Aria, Oliver, Madison, and Sophia; her sisters and brothers, Kay Hildreth of Charlotte, Betsy Rogers of Monroe, Terry Rogers of Winnsboro, SC, and William Rogers of Wadesboro; her brothers-in-law, Paul Adams of Everett, WA, Jerry Adams of Polkton and Kenny Adams (Amanda) of Indian Trail; and her nieces and nephews and their families.

The family suggests memorials be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 430 Landsford Dr., Wadesboro, NC 28170.

The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home and online condolences may be made at www.leavittfh.com
