          Mr. Bobby Joe “B.J.” White, age 68, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at his home. A celebration of life service will be 5:00 PM Friday, August 26, 2022 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor. The family will greet friends from 4:00 – 5:00 PM Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

 

           The service will be live-streamed on the Miller Rivers Caulder Funeral Home Facebook page.

 

          Mr. White was born March 28, 1954 in New Bern, NC a son of the late Joe Kimball and Hilda Faulling White. He was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church of McFarlan, NC. B.J. enjoyed the lake life, his 4-legged fur baby, Deuce, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles. Of all things that brought enjoyment, spending time with his friends, family, and especially his grandchildren were of utmost importance.

 

          In addition to his parents, Mr. White was also preceded in death by his niece, Contina “Tina” Jordan; and mother-in-law & father-in-law, Johnnie Jordan, Sr. & Valeria Jordan, known affectionately as “Ma & Pa.”

 

          Survivors include his loving spouse of 36 years, Sandra Jordan of the home; son, Josh (Brandy) White of Cheraw, SC; grandchildren, Joseph White, and Harlee White;

nieces, Bonnie (Brett) Young of Charlotte, NC, Maggie Jordan of New York, and Jessie Jordan of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; brothers-in-law, Johnnie (Debbie Holloway) Jordan, Jr., Col. Donnie (Betty) Jordan (USMC Ret.) of Monore, NC, Ronnie Jordan of Cheraw, SC, and Lonnie (Melissa) Jordan of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; nephew, Johnnie (Tina) Jordan, III of Hamlet, NC; 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews.

 

          In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org); Pleasant Hill Cemetery Fund, c/o Becky Nelson, P.O. Box 13, McFarlanNC 28102; or to an animal shelter of one’s choice.
