MORVEN - Bobby Tromelle Pratt, son of Mr. George Pratt and Evangelist Brenda “BJ” Pratt was born on Friday, November 1, 1974, in Wadesboro, North Carolina. God called him home on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at his home.

Bobby accepted Christ at an early age while attending Gatewood Station A.M.E. Zion Church in Morven, North Carolina. He went to Anson County schools and graduated in 1993.

Affectionately known as “BP” or “Pratt”, Bobby’s unforgettable personality lit up the room everywhere he went. At 6’5”, Bobby lived up to his statue. He enjoyed every day of his life as though it were the last. A true fan indeed, win or lose, he was a Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed playing cards, cutting hair, being around his friends and dancing (and if you would’ve asked him, he would’ve told you he was the best at it).

He leaves to cherish very fond memories to a devoted friend and caretaker, Shelecia Smith; his father, George Pratt, his mother, Brenda Pratt; his siblings: George Pratt III (Tobi), Patrick Pratt, Regina Spencer and Crystal Pratt; his children, Bobby Tromelle Pratt Jr., Daiquan Isaiah Pratt, Tromelle Tratez Pratt, Tieshaun Travon Pratt, Tymere Julion Pratt and Bishop U’King Pratt; his aunts and uncles , Jacqueline “Jackie” Liles, Shirley (Melton) Liles, Betty (Lindsey) Williams, Christine (Anthony) Hall, Jeanette Black, Vernel (Lou V) Willoughby, Robert (Linda) Willoughby, Wilbert (Gwendolyn) Willoughby, Charles Willoughby, and John Willoughby; 3 grandchildren, 5 nephews, 2 nieces, 3 great-nieces, 2 great-nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.

He also leaves the fondest of memories to Terrell “Yodi” Hall, Tony “T-Will” Willoughby, Ron Brody, Yolonda Rush, Demond “Money” Cox, Artreal Bennett, Len Roberts, Tim Roberts, Kevin Roberts, Tamiko Simmons, Marlon “Mark” Rorie, Anthony “Pooh” Smith, Stacie Davis, James “Junebug” Leak, Jeff Douglas, Vonda Thomas, Nakia McLendon, Tasha Smith, Derrick Bennett, Ryan Jenkins, Averil Thomas, Tyrannia Ellerbe, Calvin Brice, Juanita Townsend, Tyrone Spencer,  Minister Latoya Bennett and many others.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents George Pratt and Roberta Pratt; maternal grandparents Vernel Willoughby and Louise Willoughby, his aunt, Ernestine “Aunt Punkin” Willoughby, cousins: Markus L. Liles, Houston Pratt and close friends: Rico Sturdivant, April Thomas, Debbie Thomas, Jefferson “Big Rex” Rivers.

There will be a memorial service at 3:00 PM, Sunday, June 29, 2025 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home.

The family will be gathering at the home of his mother, Evangelist Brenda Pratt.
