Our beloved JR Allen went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. He was definitely a loved man and had a heart of gold. He loved being at the beach dancing and socializing. He will truly be missed by his family and all his friends in NC and SC. His favorite saying will stick with us all forever….Who Loves You?…..Me, You and Jesus.

JR is proceeded in death by his parents Charles Howard Allen and Lena Marie Allen.

JR is survived by his former wife, Diane Allen, with whom he shared many cherished memories with, three beloved sisters, Joyce Cox (Randy), Shirley Stackenwalt (Tom), and Karen Morris (Jimmy). He was a proud Uncle to two nephews and four nieces, who, along with thirteen great nieces and nephews, will forever hold him dearly in their hearts. He also, had so many dear friends that he left behind that he loved so much.
