Charles A. Tice

Mr. Charles A. Tice, 90, died Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Meadowview Terrace Assisted Living. Graveside services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, November 8, 2011 by the graveside in Bethel Cemetery with his nephews, Rev. Tommy Tice, Jr. and Rev. Ralph Tice officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. Charles was born October 27, 1921 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Frank Alexander and Donie Jane Coppedge Tice. He had worked with Wade Manufacturing. Surviving are his brothers and sisters, Billy Tice of Lilesville, Tommy Tice of Wadesboro, Mary Newton of Ruffin and Frances Rumbley of Eden; and his nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sister, Richard, Frank, John and Robert Tice and Betty Meachum. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W.
