Chesley Warren Greene

WADESBORO - On Thursday, June 1, 2023, Mr. Chesley Warren Greene, 61, beloved father, son, and brother, passed away peacefully at his home.

Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, June 5, 2023, by the graveside in Anson Memorial Park with Rev. Donnie Helms officiating.

The family will greet friends from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM Sunday, June 4, 2023, at Leavitt Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his mother.

Warren was born January 21, 1962, in Anson County, NC, and was a son of Barbara Gregory Greene and the late Chesley Albert Greene, Jr. He was a graduate of Bowman High School and attended Appalachian State University. He had worked with Duff Norton in Wadesboro.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Ches Greene of Charlotte and Ashley Greene Layfield (Parker) of Polkton; his mother, Barbara Greene of Wadesboro and his brother, Stephen Alan Greene of Wadesboro.
