Clayton Lamar Polk

POLKTON - On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, Mr. Clayton Lamar Polk, 39, departed his earthly life to his eternal home while he was a patient at Atrium Health Northeast in Concord, NC.

He was born October 4, 1983, in Anson County, NC and was a son of Allen Elliott and Katherine Polk Ross. He was a graduate of Anson High School. He enjoyed watching and playing baseball, Nintendo and hanging out with his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother and stepfather, Katherine and Wayne Ross; his father, Allen Elliott; his children, Zerenity Polk and Claydarious Polk; his brothers and sisters, Clifton Polk, DeAngelo Polk, Corey Polk, Corey Sanders, Quincy Sanders, Carolyn Sanders, Sameka Gormon and Ashley Chambers; his aunts and uncles, Jennie and Julius Borden, Kellis Polk and Helen Hinson and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by an infant son and his grandparents, Kellis and Ida Polk and Bruce and Bernice Elliott.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM, Saturday, May 6, 2023, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home, Wadesboro. Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery in Polkton.

Public viewing will be 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.

The family is gathering at the home in Polkton.
