Connie Jacobs Tucker

MORVEN - On Friday, April 24, 2026, Mrs. Connie Jacobs Tucker, 61, passed away peacefully at Richmond County Hospice Haven in Rockingham.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, May 1, 2026 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park where she will be laid to rest beside her daughter, Casey.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home Friday and other times at the home of her parents in Morven.

Connie was born October 28, 1964 in Chesterfield County, SC and was a daughter of Linda Jones Kelly and the late Johnny Thomas Jacobs. She was a graduate of Bowman High School.

She worked various jobs in Anson County including, Friedman's Jewelers, WalMart and Medical Specialties, however, the job she loved most was caring for children in her home.

Those who are left to cherish her memory are her parents, Linda and Wayne Kelly of Morven; her brothers and sisters, Wayne Jacobs (Sharon) of Mt. Gilead, Tina Frick (Daniel) of Richfield, Steven Kelly (Norma Jean) of Morven, Denise Nash (Bobby) of Rockingham, Natalie Williams (Robert) of Morven, and Crystal Brooks (Jeremy) of Oakboro; 17 nieces and nephews; 22 great-nieces and great-nephews; her mother-in-law, Lib Tucker of Morven and her sister-in-law, Becky Burr of Columbia, SC.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Infant Katie Lynn Tucker and Casey Lynn Tucker.

The family is most grateful to Atrium Health Pineville for all they did for her and most recently to the staff at Richmond County Hospice Haven for making her transition to Heaven one with dignity and peace.
