David Bennett Deese

WADESBORO -  On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, Mr. David Bennett Deese, 70, passed away peacefully at his home.

David was born February 16, 1955, in Anson County, NC, and was a son of the late Maurice Olin Deese and the late Mildred Alice Gaddy Deese. He was a graduate of Bowman High School and had worked with Anson Piping and Fabricating. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Those who are left to cherish his memory are his wife of 51 years, Marie Cooper Deese; his children, Amy Deese Martin (Adrian) of Wadesboro and David Deese, Jr. (Alison) of Benson; his grandchildren, Madison Martin, Mason Martin, Dylan Deese, Hunter Deese, and Randi Walters; his sister, Debra Tice of Matthews; his nieces, Holly Martini (Anthony) of Matthews and Jennifer Tice of Wadesboro and his great-nephew and great-niece, Joseph Polson and Liliana Martini.

The family is most grateful to Anson Community Hospice, a division of Richmond County Hospice, for the care and support they gave David.
