Dolly Mauldin Burr

WADESBORO - On Monday, September 18, 2023, Mrs. Dolly Mauldin Burr, 91,  passed away peacefully at Anson Health and Rehab in Wadesboro.

There will be a graveside service at 4:00PM Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends following the service.

Dolly was born July 20, 1932 in Stanly County, NC and was a daughter of the late Will Tom Mauldin and the late Vera Mae Hinson Mauldin. She and her late husband, Jack Burr were long-time dairy farmers and owned and operated, Cream-O-Line Dairy Farm in Wadesboro and she retired from Rayfield‘s Meat Center in Wadesboro.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Casey Burr (Linda) of Georgetown, SC and Gary Burr (Tina Rowell) of Wadesboro; 7 grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; her special friend, Ronald Smith of Charlotte; and her sisters-in-law, Rosa Mauldin of Oakboro and Betty Burr of Wadesboro.

In addition to her parents, her husband and her siblings, she was preceded in death by her daughter , Betty Ann Deges and her daughter-in-law, Peggy Burr.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Liberty Home Care and Hospice, 119 W Wade St, Wadesboro, NC 28170.
