Elizabeth "Lib" Arnette Locklear

WADESBORO - On Monday, March 11, 2024, Mrs. Elizabeth "Lib"  Arnette Locklear, 92, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord at Atrium Health Anson in Wadesboro.

Lib was born August 29, 1931 in Richmond County, NC and was a daughter of the late John Arnette and the late Bessie May Denson Arnette. She had worked for a brief time with Unity Knitting in Wadesboro but mainly as an in home care giver and homemaker.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Joann Odom of Ruby, SC and Johnny Goodwin of Wadesboro; her grandchildren, Chad Ricketts (Natalie) of Cheraw, SC, Chasity Keziah (Keith) of Pageland, SC, Jason Ricketts (nelly) of Ruby, SC, Dustin Ricketts (Samantha) of Mt. Croghan, SC and Kristin Stevens of Oklahoma; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
