MORVEN - On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, Mr. Garry Connell "Peck" Bennett, 61, passed away peacefully at Wadesboro Health and Rehab in Wadesboro.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM, Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Harris Chapel AME Zion Church, where he was a member, with Rev. Dr. Bernice Bennett as eulogist. Interment will follow in Galilee AME Zion Church Cemetery.
The public viewing will be from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM, Saturday, at the church.
The family is gathering at the home of his sister, Jackie Savage, in Morven.
