Genia Lowery Helms

WADESBORO - On Wednesday, July 22, 2026, Mrs. Genia Lowery Helms, 47, passed away peacefully at Ignite Medical Resort, formerly Stanly Manor in Albemarle.

Genia was born November 11, 1978 in Anson County, NC and was the daughter of the late Gene Autry Lowery and the late Linda Cassidy Lowery. She was a graduate of Anson High School and Kings Business College.

Those who are left to cherish her memory are her sons, Austin Hatley of  Mt. Gilead and Seth Helms of Lancaster,SC; her brother, Audie Lowery (Kim) of Stanfield and her nephew, Daren Honeycutt of Stanfield.

The family is grateful to the staff of Ignite Medical Resort for the excellent care and friendship they gave Genia while she was a resident there.

The family plans to have a private service with interment at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Wadesboro.
