Helen Jordan Thompson

LILESVILLE – Mrs. Helen Jordan Thompson, 78, died Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at the Hermitage Retirement Center in Rockingham. Helen was born November 12, 1941 in Anson County, NC and was a daughter of the late James Gatewood Jordan and the late Drusilla Hildreth Jordan. She was retired from Anson County Hospital as a Medical Records Clerk and was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Deirdre “Dede” T. Ashcraft and Ronnie of Lugoff, SC and her grandsons, Jordan Mitchell Ashcraft and Joseph Allen Ashcraft both of Manor, TX and her sister-in-law, Libby Foust of Siler City, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Allen “Bubby” Thompson and her sister-in-law, Sue Lampley. Funeral services will be private, and interment will be in Mt.
