Henry Walter Gaddy, Jr.

On Monday, February 22, 2021, Henry Walter Gaddy, Jr. went to be with the Lord while a patient at Atrium Health Union in Monroe, NC. He was born October 24, 1958 in Anson County, NC and was a son of Mary Dean Sturdivant Gaddy and the late Henry Walter Gaddy. Henry attended schools in Anson County and was a graduate of Bowman High School He worked for several years in textiles and was a mechanic. At the time of his death hew as employed with Popeye’s Restaurant as a cook. He enjoyed fishing and was of the Baptist faith. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Marie Caple Gaddy; his mother, Mary Gaddy; his step-children, Darrell (Kim) Caple and Jacqueline Caple; his step-grandchildren, Tamika Caple, mark Harris, Vaughn Caple; step-great-grandchildren, Kiyah Caple, Aramis Harris, Demaria Harris, Mylasia Harris, Cavona Caple and Kaylanii Caple; his sister and brother, Michele (Swindell) Moses and Michael Dean; his nephews and niece, Kendrick Moses, Natasha (Mark) Moses and Michael Dean, Jr.; his brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Forest (Annie) Caple, Sylvester Caple and Mary Frances Pruitt; and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. The memorial service will be 2:00pm Saturday, February 27,2021 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home in Wadesboro. The family will greet friends following the service.
