Hiram Kenneth "Kenny" Bennett

             WADESBORO – On Sunday, February 4, 2024, Mr. Hiram Kenneth “Kenny” Bennett, 68, passed away peacefully at Atrium Health Anson in Wadesboro.

 

            Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 7, 2024, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Knotts officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park.

 

            The family will greet friends from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.

 

            Kenny was born October 17, 1955, in Jacksonville, FL, and was a son of the late Hiram King Bennett and the late Virginia Miller Bennett. He had worked as an electrician.

 

            Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters and brother, Phyllis Hildreth of Wadesboro, Sylvia Knotts and husband, Tim of Blacksburg, SC, Nancy Sikes, and husband, Neal of Wadesboro and Austin Bennett of Polkton and his nieces and nephews and their families.

 

            Kenny enjoyed cooking and gardening. He planted a garden every year and looked forward to sharing the vegetables with his friends and family.

 

            In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
