LILESVILLE Mr. Jeffrey Lynn Horne, 60, died Sunday, December 23, 2018. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, December 31, 2018 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Knotts officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the funeral home and other times at the home on Usrey Road in Lilesville. Jeff was born January 12, 1958 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Jessie Eugene "Bud" Horne and the late Myra Kate Stubbs Horne. He was owner and operator of Creative Landscaping. A graduate of Anson High School, he received an Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy from Fayetteville Technical Community College. Surviving are his wife, Lynn Simmons Horne of the home; his children, Kristi (Ronald) Hammond of Hope Mills, Amanda Horne of Greenville, Jeffrey (Alicia) Horne, II of Anderson, SC, Matthew Horne of Hamlet and Kourtnie (JF) Harward of Wadesboro; his grandchildren, Riley, Ethan, Noah, Madison, Karsyn, Cameron, Trey, Aidan, Maddox and Collins; his great-granddaughter, Gracelyn; his brothers, Gene (Marsha) Horne of Morven, Charles (Tammy) Horne of Loris, SC, Perry (Terry Parsons) Horne of St. Cloud, FL and Warren "Punk" Horne of Wadesboro; his beloved dog, Klohie and his nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kress Horne and grandson, Jackson Horne. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
