Jerry Lewis Lisk

Mr. Jerry Lewis Lisk, 55, of Wadesboro, died Friday, June 3, 2011, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. There will be a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2011, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will be private at a later date in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home. Jerry was born January 28, 1956, in Anson County, N.C., a son of the Howard Herley Lisk, Sr. and the late Virginia Benton Lisk. He was Vice-President of Lisk Trucking and was an avid gardener and fisherman. Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Glenda Benton Lisk of the home; his children, Kristie Tucker and husband Chris, Sarah Lisk and fiance' Nathan Hildreth, and Colton Lisk, all of Wadesboro; his grandchildren, Callie and Nathan Tucker of Wadesboro; his father, Howard Lisk, Sr. of Wadesboro; his brother, Bruce Lisk and wife Vickie of Oakboro; his sister-in-law, Sherry Lisk of Wadesboro; and his sister, Linda Burr and husband Casey of Georgetown, S.C. His brother, Howard Lisk, Jr., preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. The arrangements are in care Leavitt Funeral Home.
