Jerry Lynn McQuage

MORVEN - On Sunday, September 29, 2024, Mr. Jerry Lynn McQuage, 78, passed away peacefully at Arium Union in Monroe.

Jerry was born June 24, 1946, in Anson County, NC, and was a son of the late Claude Bennett McQuage and the late Etta Mae McQuage. He worked for many years with Whit Construction in Deland, FL, and later retired from BV Hedrick in Lilesville.

Those who are left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Janet Starling McQuage; his children, Dana Johnson (Kenneth) of Chesterfield, SC and Jeremy McQuage of Morven; his granddaughter, Brianna McQuage of Florence, SC, and his great-grandchildren, Zuri, Iris, and Lila.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Claudine Burr, Adluh Sanford, William MCQuage, and C.B. McQuage.

Plans for a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
