Morven - Mrs. Jessie Strawn Lee, 90, died Saturday, June 9, 2012, in the Lutheran Home of Albemarle. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Tuesday in Leavitt Funeral Home, Wadesboro, with Dr. Darrell Huneycutt officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday (tonight) at Leavitt Funeral Home. Jessie was born in Union County, NC, on February 6, 1922, a daughter of the late Jeff and Sally Mullis Strawn. She was a homemaker and was retired from Polkton Mfg. Her husband, John Vann 'Jack' Lee, preceded her in death in 2001. Survivors include her children, Atha (Charles) Nall of Lowgap, Kay (Jerry) Hartsell of the Aquadale community-Norwood, Fletcher (Joyce) Lee of Polkton, Wincie Murray of Supply, Jack (Margie) Lee of Pineville, Frank (Cathy) Lee of Morven, John Lee Jr. of California, and Carol (Butch) Lee-Townsend of Albemarle; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
