WADESBORO - Mrs. Jewel Creighton James, 78, died Saturday, April 25, 2015 at her home. Services will be 11:00am Friday, May 1, 2015 by the graveside in Anson Memorial Park with Rev. Barry Gerald officiating. Jewel was born January 22, 1937 in Richmond County, NC a daughter of the late James and Virginia Mae Creighton Baynard. She had worked as a private duty worker with elderly patients. She was preceded in death by her son Frank Harris James in 2007 and is survived by her cousins and their families.
