Josephine Streater Jones

Lilesville - On Tuesday, February 8, 2022, Mrs. Josephine Streater Jones, 79, of Cheraw, SC and formerly of Lilesville, passed away peacefully at Cheraw Health Care in Cheraw, SC.

Services will be 11:00am Thursday, February 10, 2022 by the graveside in Forestville United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lilesville.

The family will greet friends following the service.

Josephine was born August 4, 1942 in Anson County, NC and was a daughter of the late Thomas Calvin Streater and the late Annie Mae Bryant Streater. 

She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Lilesville and was retired from the textile industry.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Jean Grecho of Lilesville, and her nieces and nephews and their families.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Jones, and her brothers and sister, Willie Wineberger, Calvin Streater, Joe Streater, and Mary Ann Pigg.
