The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. Psalm 27 (selected verses)

Mother Julia Lee Clark Threadgill was born April 18, 1949, in Union County, NC and was a daughter of the late James Harry Clark and the late Saddie Lee Bennett Clark. She was called from labor to reward on Sunday, May 31 2026, at Atrium Health Stanly in Albemarle, NC with her loving children gathered at her bedside.

Mother Threadgill was educated in the public schools of Stanly County and attended West Stanly High School. She was a homemaker and had worked for a number of years with the Stanly County School System.

She enjoyed fishing, going to yard sales, thrift stores and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of For Your Glory Ministry where she was the Mother of the Church.

Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren lovingly called her Grammy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, of 36 years, Gary Lee Threadgill; her grandson, Aaron Wright, Jr.; her great-grandson, Armonti Wright; her son-in-law, Darrell Warrick; and her sisters and brothers, Dorothy Witherspoon, Betty Leake, Della Kluttz, Robert Clark and Alfred Clark.
