Julian C. Allen

Wadesboro – Mr. Julian C. Allen, 78, died Tuesday, June 23, 2020 while a patient at Atrium Health Union. Funeral services will be private. The public is invited to drop by the funeral home to honor Julian on Thursday between 11:00AM and 5:00PM and again on Friday from 9:00AM until 1:00PM. Julian was born in Anson County on August 12, 1941, and raised by the late James H. and Blanche Williams Allen. He had worked at Wade Mill Mfg., Wansona Inc. and Rebel Lumber Company where he retired. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Dixie Frye Allen of the home; a daughter, Sandra A. Anthony (Stephone) of Peachland; a son, David Allen (Mia) of Washington state; four grandchildren, Jayme Bridges, Jayson Bridges, Sage Allen, and Mila Allen; and several brothers and sisters.
