Katherine Allen Osborn

WADESBORO Mrs. Katherine Allen Osborn, 83, died Monday, November 26, 2018 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe. NC. Services will be 11:00am Saturday, December 1, 2018 by the graveside in Fall Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Lilesville with Rev. Arnold Jackson officiating. Katherine was born January 1, 1935 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late James H. Allen and the late Blanche Williams Allen. She was a graduate of Polkton High School and had worked in textiles. She was a member of Fall Branch Baptist Church in Lilesville, where she served faithful as pianist until declining health. She had also served other churches in Anson County as pianist along with her husband playing the steel guitar. She was always willing to share her gift of music wherever God placed her in service. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Murray Osborn. She is survived by her loving church family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fall Branch Baptist Church, 2248 Ingram Mountain Rd., Lilesville, NC 28091. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
