Kenneth Julian Garris

POLKTON - On Thursday, January 15, 2026, Mr. Kenneth Julian Garris, 66, passed away peacefully at Atrium Health Union in Monroe

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Peachland Gospel Tabernacle with Pastor Lynn Garris officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

Kenny was born June 18, 1959, in Anson County, NC, and was the son of the late Julian Jesse Garris and the late Daisy Crider Garris. He was a graduate of Bowman High School and loved playing the guitar in his earlier years. Kenny worked at Hornwood, Inc. in Lilesville until his retirement.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia Ann “Pat” Wallace of the home; his brother-in-law, Tommy Martin of Wadesboro; his nieces, Lynn and Tim Thomas of Peachland, Shelia and Jerry Langley of Wadesboro and Melissa and Benjy Horne of Peachland; his much-loved dog, Goldie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Garris Martin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peachland Gospel Tabernacle, P.O. Box 107, Peachland, NC 28133.
