WADESBORO – On Wednesday, April 30, 2025, Mrs. Linda Ann Dean Kamolnik, 80, passed away peacefully at Wadesboro Health and Rehab.
Services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 8, 2025, by the graveside in Emmanuel Cemetery in Indian Trail.
Linda was born June 28, 1944, in Mecklenburg County, NC and was a daughter of the late Eatherel Eugene Dean and the late Margaret Butler Dean. She was a graduate of Harding High School and Queen City Beauty School.
For more than 50 years, she worked as a hairdresser in the Charlotte area. She was a member of Hamilton’s Crossroads Baptist Church.
Those who are left to cherish her memory are her children, Colette Finnegan (Ray) of Marshville and Rick Kamolnik (Colleen) of Monroe; her grandchildren, Randi Finnegan and Jacob Finnegan (Brittni) both of Marshville and Carter Kamolnik and Fletcher Kamolnik both of Monroe; her great-grandchildren, Lucy Finnegan, Kori Thrower and Greyson Besner all of Marshville; her sister, Dorothy Dandrow (Robert) of Unionville and her nieces and nephews and their families.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ricardo Kamolnik and by her sisters and brother, Elizabeth Ziegler, Olivia Shaw and Vernon Dean.
Linda’s family is most grateful to the staff of Wadesboro Health and Rehab for the kind and loving way in which they cared for her over the past years and also to Anson Community Hospice most recently. The staff and residents at Wadesboro Health and Rehab became extended family to her and made her time there more pleasurable.
