Linda Lanier Winkler

ANSONVILLE – On Friday, April 4, 2025, Mrs. Linda Lanier Winkler, 74, of Ansonville and formerly of Mint Hill, passed away peacefully at home.

Linda was born February 6, 1951, in Suffolk County, MA and was a daughter of the late Paul Willard Lanier and the late Mary Elizabeth Turkett Lanier. She worked for more than 30 years with Southern Bell, retiring from AT&T.

Those who are left to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Lawrence Dale “Larry” Winkler; her children, Brian Winkler and wife, Lynn of Ansonville and Maryanne Pappas of Lexington and her grandchildren, Brittany Almond, Justin Jolly, Livia Winkler, and Brayden Winkler

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother, Mary Street and Timothy Lanier.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
