Margaret Ann Fernando, age 82 of Newport News, died on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

 Margaret was born on January 4, 1943, to the late Roy Harold and Margie Adams Martin in North Carolina. 

She is survived by her children, Lisa Sheovic and Kenneth Thomas, as well as five grandchildren: Courtney, Michael, Cody, Robbie, and Dylan, and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Robert Martin and Mary Lou Hasty. 

The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. The inurnment is private.
