Margaret Esta Allen Ms. Borden

Wadesboro - Mrs. Margaret Esta Allen Borden was born September 7, 1939 in Anson County, NC to the late Mr. Theodore Roosevelt and Mrs. Bessie Butler Allen. She departed on the wings of angels on Thursday, April 2, 2012 at Ambassador Health and Rehab Center in Wadesboro, NC. Memorial service will be 2:00pm Friday, May 4, 2012 at Parsons Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Lilesville with Rev. Dr. Henry McNeil officiating. She was preceded in death by her sons, Mr. Vernon Tracy Pratt, Mr. Frederic Damon Pratt, her daughter, Ms. Marion D. Pratt and her brothers, Mr. John L. Allen, Mr. Roosevelt Allen and Mr. Theodore E. Allen. 'Maggie' joined Parsons Grove Baptist Church at an early age and attended while residing in Anson County until failing health. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend. 'Maggie' you are our brightest star forever. She leaves to cherish her memories; (1) daughter, Ms. Diane C. Pratt Nivens of Lumberton, NC; (1) son, Mr. Meredith E. Pratt of Baltimore, MD; (5) grandsons, Mr. Ryan Joseph Parker, Mr. Timothy Izzard, Mr. Vernon Tracy Pratt, Jr., Mr. Damon Pratt, Mr. Nicholas Alan Pratt and (1) granddaughter, Ms. Lindsay Nicole Reed and a number of great-grandchildren all of Baltimore, MD; (1) sister, Ms. Daisy A. McLendon of Lilesville, NC and (1) Mr. Eugene Butler of Baltimore, MD; (1) aunt, Mrs. Cornelia Johnson of Baltimore, MD; (3) sisters-in-law, Mrs. Shirley Allen of Lilesville, NC, Mrs. Shirley Simon Allen of Wadesboro and Mrs. Alma Allen of Charlotte, NC and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
