Margie Lee Hinson Pigg

Peachland- Mrs. Margie Lee Hinson Pigg, 85, passed away peacefully, Friday, December 22, 2023 at McWhorter Hospice House in Monroe.

Graveside services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Anson Memorial Park with Rev. Larry Woodall officiating.

The family will greet friends following the service.

Margie was born in Anson County, November 29, 1938, a daughter of the late Fairley Cleveland Hinson and Annie Myrtle Thomas Hinson, she was retired from Abbey Mfg. and was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church.

Surviving are her son; J.R. Pigg and wife, Charlene of Norwood; her grandchildren, Ava Strawn and husband, Kyle of Marshville and Jake Pigg of Peachland; two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Heidi Strawn of Marshville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, J.B. Hinson, Bryce Hinson and Mary Coley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McWhorter Hospice House, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
