ANSONVILLE - Mrs. Nancy Phillips Allen, 77, died Saturday, June 9, 2012 in Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte. Funeral services will be 5:00PM Monday in Leavitt Funeral Home, Wadesboro, with Rev. W.T. Treadaway officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 4:00PM. Nancy was born in Anson County on December 4, 1934, a daughter of the late Joe Bennett and Henrett Williams Phillips. She was retired from Medical Specialties, Inc. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ralph Allen. Survivors include her children, Debbie (Bob) Bowers, Sandra Ratliffe both of Wadesboro, and Charlene (JR) Pigg of Monroe; her step-children, Terry Allen of Hartsville, SC, Ralph Allen Jr., Randy Allen and Vicky Bowles all of Norwood; her grandchildren, Ava Pigg, Jake Pigg, Holly Winfree, Phillip Bowers and C.J.
