On Thursday, March 23, 2023, God, in his infinite wisdom saw fit to call from this earthly life, Patricia Ann Smith Hough, to be at home with him.

 

She was born February 8, 1959, in Anson County, NC and was a daughter of the late James Leak and the late Elizabeth Smith. She was educated in the public schools of Anson County and had worked as a line operator in the poultry industry, having retired from Smithfield Foods.

 

She accepted Christ as her Savior and enjoyed time of worship with her brothers and sisters in Christ. In her church memberships, she was faithful to serve as an usher.

 

Patricia was always willing to be of service and help to others.

 

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Sandy Liles and fiancé, Tiffany Herring; her grandchildren, Jewl Liles, Devin Deese, Jayden Dumas, Lay-Lay Liles, Nasir Liles and Nyasis Liles; her sister and brothers, Sandra Smith, James Edward Smith (Omei Allen), Fulton Smith (Jackie) and Michael Smith (Daphne) and her nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

 

The memorial service to celebrate her life was at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 29, 2023 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with her brother, Pastor Michael Smith giving the eulogy.
