MORVEN - Mrs. Queen Esther Lindsey Flowers was born July 10, 1950, in Anson County, NC and was a daughter of the late Wilbert Lee Marshal and the late Bessie Lee Lindsey. She was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC.

She was educated in the public schools of Anson County and was a homemaker. She enjoyed going fishing and would pride herself on catching the most fish and of course, the biggest fish. She dearly loved her family and looked forward to spending time with them.

Those who are left to cherish her memory are her children, Linda Evans (Martin) of Laurinburg, NC, Roger Flowers (Stacy) of Aberdeen, NC, and Samantha Flowers (Marquis Horton) of Wadesboro, NC; her sisters; Norma Grace Liles of Wadesboro, NC and Betty Owens (Henry) of Morven, NC; her grandchildren, Tiffany Williams, Kamilah Lindsey, Martin Evans, Jr., Natalie Flowers, Denzell Flowers, Kenneth Howard, Kimberly Stafford, Jessica Joines, Michael Joines, Symone Henry, Quenton Henry, Tatyana Henry, Shantia Green, Octavia Hatfield, Willie Hatfield, and Patrice Ashley; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her aunt, Margaret Robinson (Bernard) of Wadesboro, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Flowers; her grandson, Leroy Flowers, II and by her sisters and brothers, Sallie Lindsey, Ecolia Gainey, Sylvester Love, Billy Love, and Wilbert Marshall, Jr.

There will be a memorial at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 15, 2026 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends from 1:30 PM until 2:0 PM on Saturday, August 15, 2026 prior to the service in the chapel.
