Richard Neal Rick Mr. Carpenter

PEACHLAND - Mr. Richard 'Rick' Neal Carpenter, 54, died Friday, May 29, 2015. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Harmony Community Church with Rev. Rocky Carpenter and Rev. George Senter officiating. Interment will follow in Griffin Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 7:00pm until 8:30pm Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Leavitt Funeral Home, Wadesboro and other times at the home of his brother and sister-in-law on HWY 218 in Polkton. Rick was born May 6, 1961 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Curtis B. and Fannie Woodard Carpenter. He had been employed with Southern Fabricators. Surviving are his children, Tim (Lynn) Thomas of Peachland, Ritchie Carpenter and Wynonna Carpenter all of Peachland, Mary Carpenter of Ansonville, Michael Carpenter, Terriann Carpenter, Josh Carpenter and Adam Carpenter all of Polkton; his grandson, Isaac Carpenter of Ansonville; his brothers and sisters, Dennis (Carol) Carpenter and Marilyn (Ed) Helms both of Peachland, Carolyn (Ronnie) Hamilton and Donnie (Robin) Carpenter both of Polkton and Tommy (Jackie) Carpenter of Stanfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Lynn and Randy Carpenter. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Leavitt Funeral Home, P.O.
