Robert "Bob" Braswell Hardison

WADESBOERO - On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, Mr. Robert "Bob" Braswell Hardison, 67, beloved son, brother and uncle, passed away peacefully at his home.

Bob was born March 21, 1956 in Anson County, NC and was a son of Betty Jean Hough Hardison and the late Howze McLendon "Mac" Hardison. He attended schools in Anson County and studied at Montgomery Community College to become a Certified Nurses Assistant II.

He worked for a number of years at Martin Furniture Company and after that, worked as a CNA II at Carolinas Medical Center Union, now Atrium Health Union and at Sandhills Regional Hospital in Hamlet. His knowledge of healthcare was instrumental when he became his mother's primary care giver following the death of his father.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Betty; his sister-in-law, Selene Hardison of Wadesboro; his nephew, William Hardison of Monroe; his niece, Marissa Thomas (Michael) of Polkton; his great-nephews and great-nieces, Noah Ratliff, Christian Ratliff, Waylen Hardison, Summer Hardison, Margeau Thomas and Karson Thomas and his cousins and their families.

There will a private graveside service at Eastview Cemetery in Wadesboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Episcopal Church, 308 E. Wade St, Wadesboro, NC 28170.
