Robert Frosty Mr. Chewning

Wadesboro - Mr. Robert Lee 'Frosty' Chewning, 64, died Saturday, March 10, 2012 in Carolinas Medical Center-Union, Monroe, NC. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, March 12, 2012 in Deep Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Perko officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends on Monday prior to the funeral beginning at 10:00am at the church until time for the service. Frosty was born in Anson County on February 2, 1948, a son of the late Joe Hart and Kate Lewis Chewning. He was a life-long farmer. Survivors include his brothers, Bruce (Beverly) Chewning of Chesterfield, SC, and Glenn Chewning of Morven; a sister, Betty Jo Davis of Kershaw, SC; his sister-in-law, Helen Chewning of Wadesboro and a special cousin, Jackie Gaddy of Chesterfield, SC.
