The memory of us starting travel nursing assignments and keeping up with each other. Our first few assignments we were going to towns that had natural disasters. It became a joke to Rusty & I with Facebook comments to each other that we had a black cloud for natural disasters. The snow apocalypse outside of DC. We were driving in the middle of it. Misty & Rusty stayed with it. Then Hurricane Matthew flooded Lumberton. Misty & Rusty on one side of the flood & us on the other. Rusty & I talked about getting supplies to each other by boat. Then hurricane Florence hit our hometown. Again Rusty volunteered to bring his truck down to help me get supplies & food to people in need. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, help feed people and help rebuild. He was one of Gods carpenters. We always wished each other safe travels on the next travel assignments. I will miss seeing pictures of his journeys here with Misty but we can only imagine what it's like to be with the Lord as he is. Prayers for peace & comfort to Misty, Brandon & families.
