Samuel "Sambo" Hildreth

WADESBORO - On Saturday, October 8, 2022, Mr. Samuel "Sambo" Hildreth, 48, passed away at the home of his sister.

Sambo was born July 8, 1974 in Chesterfield County, SC and was a son of the late Spare Hildreth and Josephine Oliver Hildreth.  He was a graduate of Anson High School and owned and operated a mobile home repair business.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Brayley Hildreth and Hunter Hildreth both of Morven; a grandson soon to arrive; his brothers and sisters, Jeremy "Tot" Hildreth of Lilesville, Adam Hildreth, Sean Hildreth (Amy) Tammy Kantner (George) and Tanya Hildreth all of Wadesboro and Robin Sawyer (Gary) of Canton and his nieces and nephews and their families.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother, Wanda Adams and Shannon Mark Hildreth.

There will be a memorial service at 1:00 PM Sunday, January 29, 2023 at The Church of God of Prophecy in Wadesboro.
