Sharon Lynn Boyette

Wadesboro - Sharon Lynn Boyette, 64, died Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Atrium Health CMC Main in Charlotte, NC. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Wednesday, July 28, 2021 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends on Wednesday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Sharon was born August 30, 1956 in Anson County, NC and was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Boyette and the late Betty Joyce Maree Williams. She was a graduate of Bowman High School and had worked for Anson County Department of Social Services for 20 years. She later worked for Union County Department of Social Services for 10 years prior to her retirement. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Blain Flake (Tracy) of Charleston, WV and Matthew Flake (Nicole Rowell) of Wadesboro; her grandchildren, Alyssa Flake, Elynn Flake, Ryan Flake and Ericsson Blain Flake and her aunts and uncles, Betty Gail Fields (James) of Holden Beach, Ruth Steele (Virgil) of Wadesboro, Hal Maree (Chris) and Judy Smith both of Rockingham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Robert Jacob Boyette.
