Sherry Ann Rushing Gaddy

WADESBORO - On Monday, July 7, 2025, Mrs. Sherry Ann Rushing Gaddy, 65, passed away peacefully at Atrium Health Anson in Wadesboro.

There will be a memorial service at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 9, 2025 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Mr. Ken Caulder officiating.

The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home.

Private interment will be in New Home Baptist Church Cemetery.

Sherry was born December 28, 1959 in Union County, NC and she was a daughter of Bertha Jean Treadaway Rushing and the late William
"Bill" Rushing. She was a member of New Home Baptist Church and worked as manager of a self storage company in Wadesboro.

Those who are left to cherish her memory are her husband of 21 years, Dan Gaddy of Wadesboro; her mother, Jean Rushing of Wadesboro; her daughter,  Natasha Glezman of Michigan; her grandchildren, Lucas and Colby; her step-daughters, Brittanie Gaddy and Stephanie Gaddy; and her step-grandchildren, Bentley, Walker, Haven, Dakotah, Dominic, Devin and Damien.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Glezman and by her brother, Billy Rushing.

Sherry enjoyed playing games online, especially bingo and casino games. She will be remembered for having a loving heart and she will be greatly missed.
