Shirley Hathcock Law Dellinger

POLKTON - On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, Mrs. Shirley Hathcock Law Dellinger, 86, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord at her home with her loving husband by her side.

There will be a memorial service at 5:00 PM, Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Deep Springs Baptist Church.

Shirley was born October 28, 1939 in Mecklenburg County, NC and was a daughter of the late Albert Blain Hathcock and the late Emma Watson Hathcock. She worked for a number of years in real estate in Mecklenburg County.

She was a devoted member of Deep Springs Baptist Church and she dearly loved her church family. 

Those who are left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bill Dellinger of the home and her niece, Judy Hargett (Brad) of Concord.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brothers, Beatrice Fleenor, James Richard Hathcock, Robert Lee Hathcock, and William Ray "Bill" Hatchcock.

The family suggests memorials be made to Gentiva Hospice, 1198 Rockingham Rd., Rockingham, NC 28379.
