HAMLET – On Sunday, January 4, 2025, Miss Stephanie Anne “Stevie” Ritzheimer, 41, passed away peacefully at her home.
Services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, January 9, 2025, by the graveside in Anson Memorial Park with Mr. Ken Caulder officiating.
The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.
Stephanie was born in Mecklenburg County, NC on June 13, 1984, and was a daughter of the late Barbara Anne Brock and Stephen Drew Ritzheimer. She was a graduate of Anson Senior High School and had worked as a veterinary nurse and technician and most recently as a private duty care giver.
Those who are left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Catherine Grace “Catie” Steagall and boyfriend, Evan Lucas of Polkton; her brother and sister-in-law, Shawn and Christy Brock of Hamlet; her nieces and nephew, Hailey Howell and husband, Cody of Wadesboro, Alexis McLaughlin and husband, Corey of Hamlet, Noah Brock and fiance’, Amaya Swaney of Wadesboro and Annie Brock and boyfriend, Daniel Rodriguez Jaimes of Wadesboro; her great-nephew and great-nieces, Mason McLaughlin, Stella Howell and Olivia Howell; her aunts, Gaye Harrington and husband, Richard of Lilesville and Beth Howell and husband, Robbie of Mt. Gilead; and close friends who she loved like brothers, Johnny Jackson and Bruiser Simpson both of Monroe.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Sue Hill Brock and Lonnie Allen Brock.
