Thomas Jefferson Little

MORVEN - On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Mr. Thomas Jefferson Little, 89, passed away peacefully at his home in Morven.

There will be a funeral service at 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 23, 2025 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home in Wadesboro. Interment will follow in Gatewood Station AME Zion Church Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Thomas Jefferson Little was born April 7, 1936 in Anson County to the late Spencer Little, Sr. and the late Julia Gainey Little.

Thomas was united in holy matrimony to Susie Little, and they raised four wonderful sons who were hard workers, compassionate, and productive citizens.

During those days, Thomas was a farmer, but gave up farming to begin a job with Huntley Buick in Wadesboro, NC, and later to Carolina Tire. He was a hard worker who took pride in his job and instilled the same in his sons.

He and his family attended Gatewood Station AMEZ Church, and the church was close to where he attended the Gatewood Station-Morven School.

Mr. Little leaves to cherish, his devoted memories to the families of his devoted sons, Darrell Little and his family, Deon Little and his family and the families of the late Warren Little and the Late Wardie Little who proceeded him in death, as well as his wife, Susie. He also leaves behind a host of extended family, other relatives and friends.
