POLKTON – Mr. Tommie Clinton Hill, 74, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 4, 2021 at his home with his daughters by his side.

Clinton was born February 13, 1947, in Anson County, NC and was a son of the late Horace Clinton Hill and the late Hallie Trull Hill. He was a graduate of Anson High School and a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War. He retired from ATI Allvac in Monroe with 43 years of service.

Surviving are his daughters and sons-in-law, Shelly and Brian Rivenbark of Peachland and Shelby and Tim Emrich of Polkton; his grandchildren, Brittany Credle and husband, Ethan of Sneads Ferry, Blake Rivenbark of Peachland, Chance Emrich and wife, Caitlyn, Bailey Emrich and Madison Emrich all of Polkton and his great-granddaughter, Sadie Blake Credle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Hazel Griffin, Rebecca Thomas, Emmett Hill, Brackie Hill and Brenda Beamer.

Clinton was very proud of his military service and enjoyed his horses.

The family has planned a private graveside service in Peachland Cemetery with his nephew, Rev. Billy Hill officiating and military honors.
